Pen Type-B is precision machined out of solid metal at a multi-generation shop in Vermont, USA. The body of the pen is made out of stainless steel and the sleeve is available in several options:
Polished Brass: The brass is purposely uncoated so it picks up your unique patina over time.
Black: Brushed with an ultra durable matte black ceramic-polymer coating (Cerakote) that will wear with time to reveal the Titanium underneath - a cool and rugged feel.
Titanium: Polished or Matte, with the hardness of stainless steel and the lightness of aluminum (weighs about half as much as the brass counterpart). Both the sleeve and the pen are made of titanium.

The ultra-high machining tolerances between the pen and sleeve create a piston-like effect. The pen falls slowly into its sleeve and makes a nice popping sound when you pull it out quickly. Pen Type-B ships with a 0.3mm Black Hi-Tec-C Ink Cartridge and can easily be refilled with G-Tec-C refills. To replace the ink cartridge, simply unscrew the back of the pen with a coin, reserve the top metal cap and replace cartridge.
